Ingredients

2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts

3 cups heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

½ teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)

1 cup chicken broth

8 oz fettuccine pasta (uncooked)

1 cup fresh spinach (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prep the Chicken: Place the boneless chicken breasts at the bottom of your crockpot. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

Add Garlic and Liquids: Pour in the chicken broth and minced garlic over the chicken. Then, add the heavy cream and stir gently to combine.

Cook: Cover the crockpot and cook on low for about 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.

Shred the Chicken: Once cooked, remove the chicken from the crockpot and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded chicken back to the pot.

Add Cheese: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. If using, now is the time to toss in the fresh spinach, allowing it to wilt in the hot sauce.

Cook the Pasta: About 30 minutes before serving, cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Combine: Finally, stir the cooked fettuccine into the creamy chicken Alfredo sauce in the crockpot. Mix well to coat the pasta thoroughly.

Serve: Ladle generous portions into bowls and garnish with fresh parsley. Enjoy your creamy chicken Alfredo!
