1 can (5 oz) tuna in water, drained

1 medium apple, diced (preferably a sweet variety like Honeycrisp)

1 cup celery, finely chopped

1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped

1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt (or mayonnaise for creaminess)

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, diced apple, chopped celery, and red onion.

    In a separate small bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until smooth.

      Pour the dressing over the tuna mixture, and gently toss until everything is evenly coated.

        If you’re adding nuts, fold them in for an extra crunch.

          Taste and adjust the seasoning with more salt or pepper if needed.

            Once well combined, refrigerate the salad for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
