Ingredients

4 ripe peaches, pitted and sliced

4 cups mixed salad greens (arugula, spinach, and baby kale)

4 oz goat cheese, crumbled

1/2 cup walnuts, toasted and roughly chopped

1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced

1/2 cup balsamic vinaigrette (store-bought or homemade)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Salad Base: In a large salad bowl, combine the mixed salad greens, ensuring they are evenly distributed at the bottom.

Slice the Peaches: Take the ripe peaches, remove the pits, and slice them into wedges. Arrange them beautifully over the greens.

Add Cheese & Nuts: Sprinkle the crumbled goat cheese and the toasted walnuts over the top of the salad.

Layer on the Red Onion: Add the thinly sliced red onion for an added crunch and flavor dimension.

Dress the Salad: Drizzle the balsamic vinaigrette over the salad, making sure to do it evenly. Season with salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste.

Garnish: If using, tear a few fresh basil leaves and sprinkle them atop the salad for a fragrant finish.

Serve Immediately: Toss gently to combine just before serving to keep the greens crisp and fresh.
