Ingredients

For the crust:

1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs

⅓ cup unsalted butter, melted

¼ cup granulated sugar

For the strawberry layer:

2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

1 tablespoon lemon juice

For the yogurt layer:

4 cups plain or vanilla Greek yogurt

¼ cup honey (or to taste)

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

For topping:

Whipped cream (optional)

Additional sliced strawberries (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the crust:

    - In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Mix until well combined and the texture resembles wet sand.

      - Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9x9-inch square baking dish to form the crust. Use the back of a measuring cup or your fingers to compact it tightly. Set aside.

        Make the strawberry layer:

          - In a small bowl, combine the sliced strawberries, granulated sugar, and lemon juice. Toss gently to coat the strawberries evenly.

            - Let the mixture sit for about 10-15 minutes until the strawberries release some of their juices, forming a syrup.

              Prepare the yogurt layer:

                - In a large mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir until fully combined and smooth. Adjust sweetness if needed by adding more honey.

                  Assemble the squares:

                    - Spread half of the yogurt mixture evenly over the graham cracker crust.

                      - Layer the strawberries along with their juices over the yogurt layer, spreading them out evenly.

                        - Pour the remaining yogurt mixture over the strawberries, smoothing it out with a spatula.

                          Freeze:

                            - Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until solid.

                              Serve:

                                - Once frozen, remove the dish from the freezer and allow it to sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes for easier slicing.

                                  - Cut into squares and serve topped with whipped cream and additional sliced strawberries if desired.
