Ingredients

For the Chicken Alfredo:

2 cups cooked rotisserie chicken, shredded

12 oz fettuccine pasta

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish (optional)

For the Garlic Bread Topping:

1 large loaf of French bread

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried parsley

1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

Prepare the Pasta:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

      Make the Alfredo Sauce:

In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute). Carefully pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly. Add the Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Continue stirring until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens slightly, about 3-5 minutes.

          Combine Chicken and Pasta:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken and cooked fettuccine. Pour the Alfredo sauce over the chicken-pasta mixture and toss gently until everything is well coated.

              Prepare the Garlic Bread Topping:

Cut the French bread in half lengthwise. In a small bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, dried parsley, and salt until smooth. Spread this garlic butter mixture generously over both halves of the bread.

                  Assemble the Bake:

Pour the chicken and Alfredo mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, smoothing it into an even layer. Place the garlic bread halves on top of the dish, cut side up, ensuring they cover the Alfredo pasta as much as possible.

                      Add Cheese:

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the garlic bread and chicken Alfredo layers.

                          Bake:

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the bread is golden brown.

                              Serve:

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired, then serve warm and enjoy!
