Sticky Garlic Butter Chicken and Broccoli

1.5 lbs (680g) boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces

2 cups broccoli florets

1/4 cup unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup soy sauce

3 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon ground ginger

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons sesame seeds (for garnish)

2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Cooked rice or quinoa, for serving

Instructions
 

Prep the Chicken: Season the bite-sized chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Set aside.

    Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, ground ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using). Set aside.

      Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Once melted and bubbly, add the chicken pieces. Cook for about 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
